Reception honors visible gay serviceman. The ACLU of Ohio Gay-Lesbian Rights Project is sponsoring a cocktail reception to honor Jose Zuniga, a 24 year old gay Army Specialist from San Francisco who came out publicly at the April March on Washington. The highly decorated serviceman was demoted and given an honorable discharge.

The event is from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on July 8 at 33200 Shaker Blvd. in Pepper Pike. The suggested minimum contribution of $50 per person will enable the Project to continue its work to secure basic civil liberties for gay and lesbian people. For information call 781-6277.

Too big for its boots? The Cleveland City Country Dancers, a gay square dance

club which has been in existence for about five years, has moved to a more spacious location. In the last two years this club has tripled in size and consists of approximately 60 men and women. Due to the growth spurt, a larger dance area was desperately needed.

The club now meets at Archwood United Church of Christ, 2800 Archwood Ave. (off West 25th Street, one light south of I71), Cleveland, OH 44109.

Come square up with the dancers on Wednesdays from 7 to 10:30 pm. New

classes will begin on Wednesday, July 7. Also, look for our line dance two steppin' schedule in Charlie's Calendar.

A heartfelt thank you from the Cleveallowing us to use their facilities these past land City Country Dancers to the Center for

years.

National

Pecs 'r' Us. Chest Men of America, the world's only club for men who appreciate the male chest, will be holding its second annual National Convention in Chicago at the Hotel Lincoln, July 16-18.

At least 80 of the club's 600 plus members are expected to attend. Originally founded in 1980 as Edenite, the club changed its name in 1992. The purpose of the club, according to its president, Bob Berglund, is "to provide a network for every man in America and the world who is attracted to the male chest, enabling him to meet other men with the same interest, as consenting adults."
